While homeschooling is such a big part of this blog because I find myself in the fortunate position of doing so, it’s not for everyone. Every household is different and so are their needs. Prismart Global gave us some insight on Play schools and Preschool Education.

Everything About Play Schools and Preschool Education

Any Institution of Learning plays a very crucial role in shaping an individual’s life. It makes him well aware of society and the world in general. The process of gaining education begins when the child is born. Parents, siblings, and guardians teach the child basic vocabulary and etiquettes. But the journey of Formal education starts from a Kindergarten School.  It is the first step of the child towards lifelong learning. Kindergarten Education brushes up the child’s creativity and imagination through music, drama, stories, and several other activities.

The term ‘Kindergarten’ is a term derived from German meaning ‘Garden for the Children’. It was first coined by a German Educator; Friedrich Frobel. He set up the first Kindergarten school in Blankenburg, Germany in 1837. He believed that Kids are naturally active learners and creative geniuses & therefore at this stage, they can be taught the skills needed in the real world.

When we look at the role of Kindergarten Education in our child’s life, it is very important to select the right Kindergarten for him/her. While choosing a Kindergarten school, make sure to ask the school faculty about the curriculum, teaching methodology, evaluation criteria, and extra-curricular activities. Also, do elaborate research on the school that fits your demands and is budget-friendly at the same time. You must also look at the school’s infrastructure for cleanliness and safety. Check if the washrooms are hygienic. Also, ensure that the school has a playground, exit doors, fire safety alarms, and closed sockets.

Besides this, it is very crucial to look at the distance of the school from the home, and if the school is providing any transportation facility. You must also look for additional facilities such as Medical room, the day-care facility being offered by the school. Also, don’t forget to take note of the fee & other additional charges of the play school.  Choosing the right Kindergarten can be a challenging task and has a major impact on our child’s education journey.
